It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way.
In this town,
in this place,
lay a city without face.
For towards its end,
or perhaps its beginning,
it faced the sea,
waves lapping against me.
But it was time to leave,
it was time to flee,
a tidal wave was coming for me.
And so I fled,
I fled so far away,
as the wave shone oh so red.
A sea of blood,
a sea of pain,
it was a past I longed to shed.
It engulfed my city,
it engulfed my town,
but behold! I was in Wyoming!
I have no idea why.
I have no idea
Why I wrote this as though it were a poem.
But woohoo, it is.
WTF I AM MOVING FROM FLORIDA TO WYOMING BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHY IN REALITY.
I want to blast Jamaican music from my car as a counter to all those people blasting rap from their cars, but I don't like either. T__T
People in my class apparently think that scenes of island beaches with palm trees overhanging, when asked what type of music it inspires them to think of, are very reminiscent of Slayer.
Obviously, something about palm trees screams, "METAL!!!!!! YEEAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Of course, if I were a palm tree, maybe my coconuts would be playing heavy metal. Whenever I beat on them though, they only split open and my Mom yells at me for spilling the coconuts all over the carpet.
I am going insane tonight, so yay!
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
